Linux Training Partner Registration

Explosive growth in demand for Linux training has compelled GBdirect to consider methods of realising the full value of our expertise without delivering all the training ourselves and without imposing the burden of a larger salesforce upon ourselves. Our current intentions are to offer three broad types of partnership. The first, is with commercial training providers who would like to have privileged access to our proprietary learning materials, our training programme road map, and our corporate clients. Although we have not yet outlined the precise contractual relationships envisaged, they are likely to provide the following benefits:

• Full copyright-free access to our proprietary training materials, at least six months before their open-source release.
• Full access to our plans for new courses, modules, and learning programmes one year in advance of any open source release.
• Contracts to deliver our training programmes to our corporate clients.

In return for this sort of access we are likely to ask partners to accept our quality assurance procedures and a reasonable commission for passing clients to them.

The second type of partnership we are interested in cultivating is with organisations who do not have in-house Linux training expertise, but do have customers with Linux training needs. Such partners could join our existing network of friends who pass us training leads in return for substantial finders' fees.

The third type of partnership we would like to develop is with hardware, software, and solutions providers who want to expand into the open source market. Our trainers have unparalleled skills and experience in commercial and technical aspects of the Linux market. They are available to provide a whole series of tried and tested briefings and talks on ecommerce and open source software.
