New Training Module Release: More Tools
Linux User Magazine Sponsors the Linux Training Materials Project

Thanks to sponsorship from Linux User Magazine we are pleased to announce the release of a new module called "Special Topics". This module is a somewhat disparate collection of topics on basic system anaylsis, installation and configuration. Subjects covered include: the Linux Boot loader (LILO); the Red Hat Package Management System (RPM); source installation utilities like autoconf, ./configure, and their use with `make' files; using the /proc filesystem to access analytica information from the running kernel.
For convenience, this and forthcoming releases will be bundled into a single distribution containing all the latest versions of our publicly available modules. See the Download page for details.
